These notes are about the dormitory entrance lobby in the photograph, not about a bedroom.
01
What are the good design elements in this room?
The open lobby has clear signs, which helps residents find the accommodation centre.
02
What is special in the design?
The curved ceiling makes the hostel entrance more interesting than a plain corridor.
03
What could be improved in this design?
I would add a bench and a noticeboard so students have somewhere to wait and check announcements.
